Woodshed is a transmedia fictional world that follows the experiences of Jonny Vulcain and friends as they rebuild their lives torn by tragedy. Picking up the story in NYC, 2003—Woodshed explores outsider culture, mental health, music, love & loss. With a healthy amount of psychedelic magical realism, and a touch of Marxist sci-fi, the characters keep a stoned smile through the trials and tribulations of working life.

'Enter the Animated World of Woodshed' Live in NYC

Launching Woodshed into the public realm for the first time, KOTA DOSA Universe took over a gallery space in New York's East Village for an exhibition & celebration of artwork, anime & trading cards.

Screening the animated short 'Booster Packs' throughout the day, our audience quickly grew into a block party. Cast & crew came together for the grassroots event—travelling in from London, Oregon & Florida to join the NYC team.

Woodshed, Book I: 'T-Minus'

The first novella, in a series of nine, will be launching on Kickstarter this May. Written by Ollymandias, T-Minus introduces the world of Woodshed through eyes of Jonny, a young musician with a loose grip on reality. Following the events of a single day, an unassuming start to a new job unravels into a psychedelic excursion.
